Welcome to our Life Styled & Living Well blog!
This blog is a personal space where we, Stacii and Teresa, share our lives, both individually and together, with honesty, heart, and a bit of humor along the way.
Life is full of seasons, some joyful, some challenging, and all worth reflecting on. Through our posts, you’ll find stories about our daily lives, meaningful adventures, lessons we’re learning, and the ways our faith continues to shape us. We’re not here to present perfect lives. Instead, we’re opening the door to real conversations about growth, purpose, relationships, and what it looks like to live well, spiritually, emotionally, and intentionally.
You’ll hear from both of us in our own voices. Sometimes we’ll write as a team, and other times we’ll share more personal reflections and experiences on our own. We each bring our unique perspective, style, and journey but what we have in common is a deep desire to live authentically and to connect meaningfully with others, like you, the Life Styled and Living Well community.
Our hope is that as you read, you’ll feel encouraged, inspired, and maybe even challenged in the best of ways. Whether you’re here for a moment of encouragement, a story you can relate to, or simply a breath of fresh perspective, we hope this blog feels like a cozy corner of the internet where you can exhale and just be.
Thank you for being here; we hope you’ll stick around.
From Full Houses to Quiet Mornings: A Christmas of Family and Faith
Christmas has a way of changing as life changes, and this blog is a reflection on how traditions grow, shift, and still remain meaningful through every season. From loud family gatherings and childhood memories to quieter mornings and deeper appreciation, we’re sharing what Christmas has looked like for each of us, then and now. It’s a reminder that whether the house is full or calm, the heart of Christmas is always found in family, faith, and the moments we choose to cherish.
A December Escape to Cancun (Sun, Snacks & Zero Regrets)
Sun, poolside lounging, and a little bit of chaos, our December trip to Cancun was exactly the getaway we needed. From amazing ceviche at Casa Tequila to unforgettable fun at Mr. Taco, we soaked up the sun, discovered local gems, and made plenty of memories (and margarita plans) along the way.
Finding Gratitude in Every Season: A Thanksgiving Reflection
Thanksgiving has a way of inviting us to pause, breathe, and look a little closer at the life we’re living. In a season that celebrates abundance, connection, and the comfort of familiar traditions, it’s also a gentle reminder that gratitude isn’t only for the days when everything feels perfectly in place. It’s for the messy chapters, the quiet victories, the stretches of waiting, and even the moments that ask more of us than we expected.
HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES
With Christmas just around the corner, the season of giving is officially here and we’re here to help make it a little easier (and a lot more joyful).
Between family gatherings, travel, and to-do lists, holiday shopping can quickly become overwhelming. That’s why we’ve curated a series of holiday gift guides designed to take the stress out of finding the perfect presents.
Where are our Book Lovers at?
Whether you read a book a week or just one a year, you're in the right place.
At Life Styled and Living Well, we believe that reading isn’t just a hobby. Reading is a form of self-care, a way to connect, escape, dream, and grow. Books can transport us into distant lands, drop us in the middle of a gripping mystery, take us back in time, or give us a front row seat to someone else’s world.

LS&LW is Really Cooking Now!
Food is more than just fuel—it’s how we celebrate life, connect with loved ones, and create lasting memories. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce Life Styled and Living Well Recipes, a new space on our website dedicated to sharing inspiration for meals that bring people together.
How a Backsplash Tried to Break Me (But I Had Caulk)
That moment when the backsplash nearly wins, but you’ve got muscle, caulk, spackle, and sheer stubbornness on your side. My first solo DIY project left me dusty, sore, and slightly injured, but also ridiculously proud. Proof that midlife is the perfect time to start fresh and try new things (even if it involves inhaling grout dust). Would you have ripped it all out or lived with the lopsided, half working outlets?
A Mother of the Bride’s Reflection
When Kayla (and Nicholas) got engaged, we had about a year and a half to plan the wedding. At the time, that felt like more than enough. And it really was. We had so many sweet moments during that time of planning; afternoons filled with dress shopping, late-night calls about color palettes, table decor, caterers, and text threads full of ideas and “what do you think about this?” messages. We made lists, checked things off, and felt like we were staying right on track.
One thing we didn’t feel prepared for was…the closer the wedding gets, the faster time moves. Those last 60 days? They disappeared in a blur. Suddenly, we were juggling final fittings, confirming vendors, and organizing all our wedding purchases…
Wander Often, Spend Smart: How I Travel More Without Breaking the Bank
These days, I travel as much as possible, not because I have endless time or money, but because I’ve learned how to get creative within a budget. Travel has become one of the best ways I care for myself. It gives me energy, inspiration, and a much-needed break from the everyday. I don’t need five-star resorts or first-class tickets. I just need a change of scenery, a little adventure, some relaxation, and a few smart travel hacks that help me stretch my dollars and go more often.
Skincare Without the Stress: What’s Actually Working for Us in Our 50’s
Let’s be Honest – Skincare Can Feel a Little Overwhelming Sometimes
There are serums, acids, creams, oils… and a million opinions on exactly how you should be using them. It’s enough to make you want to throw in the towel (preferably a clean, fluffy one).
Teresa
So, here’s the thing: I’m not a dermatologist. I’m not an aesthetician. I’m just a regular person and I’ve tested plenty of products over the years, some hits, some misses…
Italy (part 2)
Our three-week journey through Italy was unforgettable; breathtaking landscapes, rich history, incredible food, and a sensory overload in the best (and occasionally sweatiest) way. From Rome to Venice, we saw it all. But now that I’ve had time to reflect, there are five things I’d definitely do differently next time… and yet, I wouldn’t change a thing about how we did it.
It’s Amazon Prime Days
Hi friends! We are prepping for our very first Amazon Prime Day since we started our Life Styled and Living Well Community. Also, we recently joined the Amazon Associates program, and we would love your support and hope you consider using our links to make your purchases, as we kick off Prime Days together.
Grateful
Welcome to Life Styled and Living Well; A Journey Rooted in Gratefulness
To say that Stacii and I are excited to launch the Life Styled and Living Well community would be an understatement. But if we had to choose just one word to mark the beginning of this new chapter, it would be grateful, which is the word that was placed on my heart for this year.
Italy (part 1)
Ah, Italy. The land of pasta, piazzas, and… unexpected ankle swelling? Yes, you heard me. I want to tell you the truth about traveling through Italy, not just the Instagram version with gelato sunsets and quaint alleyways, but the sweaty, slightly swollen, “why-did-I-pack-four-pairs-of-shoes” version.
Reflecting: 4th of July
Planning and Reflecting: 4th of July
The 4th of July hits a little differently now. The backyard isn’t quite as noisy as it once was, with no kids running around with sparklers or chasing each other through sprinklers. These days, it’s quieter, but in that quiet, we’ve found something really meaningful. As two women in our 50s, empty nesting and embracing the rhythm of midlife, this holiday has become more than just fireworks and flags.
