“When you travel, you are not spending money, you are buying memories.” - unknown

It’s official – we’ve caught the travel bug! This newfound passion likely stems from both of us becoming empty nesters in recent years.

We will be sharing about some of our favorite destinations. Our visits to amusement parks have become a bit less frequent (though we will always have a soft spot for anything Disney), and we’ve evolved from enjoying roller coasters and corn dogs (which we still miss at times) to resorts, beaches, cruises, and anything that allows us to enjoy the outdoors, lounge by the pool, and relax (aahhhhhh).

Having a trip, whether big or small, planned or in the works, helps us get through the rainy season here in Washington State.

Some of our favorite destinations so far include the breathtaking beauty of Alaska, explored by both land and sea, the stunning coastlines and beaches of California, the painted desert of Arizona with its incredible sunsets and warm temperatures (it’s a dry heat), the romantic beaches of Miami, or the slow pace and exotic flavors of the Caribbean.

We also enjoy day trips, and our location allows us to access the big cities of Seattle and Portland, or serene rural farmland, majestic mountains, and the Pacific Ocean within just a few hours in either direction.

Through our travels, we’ve gained valuable insights on versatile outfits, packing tips, recommended sightseeing activities, and more.

We look forward to bringing you along on our future trips, along with sharing traveling insights that we’ve learned along the way. We would also love to hear about some of your favorite travel experiences. Share with us by filling out our contact form.
