From Porch to Living Room: Easy Fall Decor Inspiration
There’s something magical about the shift from summer to fall. It’s the crisp mornings, vibrant colors of the leaves, and of course, the chance to cozy up our homes with warm, seasonal décor, and yes, a good book. Whether you’re going all in with pumpkins, plaid, and all things harvest, or prefer subtle touches that blend seamlessly with your everyday style, fall decorating is all about creating a welcoming space that feels both stylish and comfortable.
Starting with my porch and entry way. Your front door sets the tone for the season. A fall wreath made of eucalyptus, dried florals, or pumpkins and it instantly adds charm. Pair it with a simple doormat layered over a plaid rug for that Pinterest-worthy look. Add lanterns or mums in planters for extra warmth.
You can also swap out lightweight throws and pillows for chunky knits and pumpkin prints. Neutrals layered with autumn tones like rust, mustard, and deep green. Give your space depth and warmth without overwhelming your existing décor.
Of course, pumpkins are a must, but they don’t all have to be orange! White, sage, or muted blue pumpkins blend beautifully into modern or neutral décor. Mix real and faux pumpkins on your mantel, dining table, or even in the kitchen for an easy seasonal update.
At Life Styled and Living Well, we like to keep our fall decor simple and inexpensive because we like to update or add to our collection each year. Shopping at Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, Target, etc. is where we find most of our fall treasures. Also, just a few thoughtful touches throughout your home makes a big difference and gives that festive look and feel.
