Hi, I’m Teresa, self-proclaimed book lover! Whether it’s a paperback I can flip through, an ebook I can read on the go, or an audiobook that keeps me company on a walk or while organizing the house. I’m always looking for my next great read.
I love books that pull me in and let me dream, imagine, escape, or even learn something new. My reading tastes are pretty broad, one day it might be a lighthearted rom-com that makes my heart sing, a psychological thriller that keeps me guessing, or historical fiction that truly pulls me in.
My personal reading goal is to read one book per week, and so far for 2026 I’m on track!
If you ever need a book recommendation, whether you’re in the mood for something cozy and comforting or dark and twisty, I’m sure to have a good book recommendation. Check back her regularly as I’ll regularly update and share my latest reads, some of my favorites, and maybe even a few books that surprised me along the way!

A few of my recent favorites
I’ll be honest, historical fiction isn’t usually my go-to genre, but when Kathryn Stockett releases a new book after The Help, I’m absolutely picking it up.
The Calamity Club, set in Depression-era Mississippi, was worth the wait. It follows a group of unforgettable women whose lives unexpectedly intertwine, highlighting the complex and often powerful ways female relationships form, especially when support shows up across very different walks of life.
Coming together to support one another through the different challenges and life experiences they face, they gradually form a bond strong enough to carry them through it all.
A compelling read that holds your attention from beginning to end.
The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett
The Boys in the Light by Nina Willner
The Boys in the Light is a narrative nonfiction masterpiece that weaves together the stories young lives during World War II. One of the main characters, Eddie Willner, is also the author’s father.
Set against the backdrop of Nazi-occupied Europe and the European theater of WWII, the book follows Eddie’s harrowing journey through persecution, forced labor, and survival in concentration camps like Auschwitz, alongside the experiences of American soldiers in the 3rd Armored Division who are fighting their way across Europe.
Their worlds collide in an unforgettable moment when starving, escaped boys emerge from the woods and are rescued by American troops—an encounter that becomes a turning point in all their lives.
The story explores survival, faith, resilience, and the deep bonds formed in wartime, showing both the brutality of conflict and the humanity that can still exist within it. It is ultimately a moving story of connection, courage, and brotherhood that spans two very different sides of the same war.
The Night We Met is a heartfelt romance about how one seemingly small decision can change the course of a life.
When Larissa chooses to ride home from a concert with the charming Mike instead of his quieter friend Chris, she has no idea she's walking away from the person who may have been her perfect match. As Larissa navigates financial struggles, family challenges, and a complicated relationship, she finds herself increasingly drawn to Chris, whose kindness, loyalty, and steady support become impossible to ignore.
Abby Jimenez delivers another emotional, character-driven romance that will keep readers invested until the very last page.
