📍 Day 1: The Beach and The Strand
Morning: Check out the sunrise as you walk the Seawall, spend some time at the beach, before hitting a local coffee stop.
Afternoon: Hop on the Galveston trolley for an easy ride to The Strand Historic District, where you can explore the historical homes of Galveston, and pop into La King's Confectionery for a sweet treat. Tip: Sea Foam Coffee in The Strand is also a great local spot for a cup of Joe.
Evening: Grab a seafood dinner at the Fisherman’s Warf along the water before watching the sunset along the Seawall or hop on a ride at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier.
📍 Day 2: Gardens and History
Morning: Be sure to check out Moody Gardens, which part aquarium, part rainforest adventure, part science museum and one of the island’s most recognizable landmarks. It’s recommended that you grab your tickets online prior to arriving.
Afternoon: Visit the Bishop’s Palace, also known as Gresham House, is a Victorian-style mansion in Galveston, Texas. Built in the late 19th century for lawyer and politician Walter Gresham, it is considered one of the most significant examples of residential architecture in the United States.
Evening: Grab a delicious Tex Mex dinner with a coastal vibe at Vida Agave.
📍 Day 3: Galveston Maritime Museum
Morning: The Galveston Naval Museum offers a hands-on look at maritime history, allowing visitors to tour a real WWII submarine and destroyer escort for an immersive glimpse into life at sea. Perfect for history buffs.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon strolling the beach and taking in a few of the local shops and eateries.
Evening: One more seafood dinner, this time let’s try Gaido’s.
